Delete ?? "Yes !!"

What happens when a monkey begins using a computer ?? Obviously, it deletes off its e-mail account...like thats' what I did a couple of days back. All of a sudden you are left confused, insecure, and scared. Without an e-mail id, you are kept aloof, lonely and deserted. Without an e-mail id, you have lost communications with any human form. Without an e-mail id, you become a cave-man !!


It doesn't take much brains to delete an account off...in fact it takes very little of it...but to get it back is something almost impossible. To sign up for a new account, you need to change your user id, which is mostly like changing your name, as a result of which you need to take the pains of informing all your near and dear ones about the name-change, which is stressful, because people don't learn fast, and they continue to call you using your old name, which is frustrating, because now you do not have the right to respond to the call of your old name, so your messages start bouncing, just like your eye balls are right now. Confused ?? So was I, and thats' the reason I clicked on the dreaded link that said "Yes, I want to delete my acount".

But my friends are fast learners, they quickly caught on with the extra "u" now attached to my user id (ksuhasu@gmail.com). Now even if Google apologises (for no fault of theirs) and returns me back my old id, I'll say "Go away you fools" !!

So what really was the moral of this post ?? Beats me !! I thought of narrating a simple story, then I thought of cautioning you against deleting your accounts, then I even thought of asking everyone to be less dependent on technology that can make you the most powerful person, or the weakest one, in seconds...but its just not worth it. You may forget your passwords, delete your system files, download viruses...but does it deter you from still using the computer ?? No, never !! Man continues to commit mistakes (irrespective of whether he learns from them), he commits so many irrepairable mistakes, and finally one day he gets married. Any mistake after this is no mistake at all (Yes, I flicked these lines from a thousand times forwarded e-mail)

Now...to all those people who called me stupid just because I deleted my gmail account...are you married ?? Will you be married in future ?? Then...who's more stupid ?? They say marriage is not a word, its a sentence...a life sentence !! (words stolen from another e-mail). So please don't blame me for an inconvenience I've caused you...i think this is an opportunity for me to rejuvenate and re-invent myself (have absolutely no idea what those words mean).

And people who've managed to continue to read till this last sentence, but still haven't understood anything...just note a change in my mail id: ksuhasu@gmail.com

Blood Lily

Come summer and comes the "Blood Lily". Its known by many names - Football Lily, the Pin Cushion Lily and the the Blood Flower. Although some people call it simply as the "May Flower", in true sense it isn't really a "May flower", as its blooming season varies between late February and late May. The arrival of the flowers every year will be a welcome surprise as they appear when the plants have completely "disappeared", as if dead !! The plant comes from Tropical Africa but it is widely distributed. Our house has been gifted with 5 such flowers this time; with its numerous scarlet flowers, its truly beautiful !!
